Review: All I Know Now* | Carrie Hope Fletcher

Carrie Hope Fletcher is an actress, singer, internet star and now author. Her YouTube channel, ItsWayPastMyBedtime, has reached over 600,000 subscribers and she is currently playing Wednesday Addams in the UK Tour of The Addams Family.

I have been watching Carrie on YouTube for quite a few years now and she's one of my absolute favourite vloggers! I've been lucky enough to meet Carrie a few times when she was in Les Miserables and she is genuinely one of the sweetest people ever. Carrie is always lovely and kind, just like she comes across in her videos. Her love of tea, fab wit, friendly personality and all adoration of all things Disney makes her instantly likeable and you just want to be besties with her!

All I Know Now is a guide to growing up as well as a memoir and I am so glad to have read it. Carrie's writing is just like talking to a friend, it's thought provoking whilst being funny and witty in parts. Carrie doesn't sugar coat anything and her honesty comes across as genuine and truthful making it a very personal read. The overall message I found from reading All I Know Now, is that  everything will get better! Whatever happens, there's something great just waiting around the corner.

The whole layout of the book just reflects Carrie's personality perfectly sharing anecdotes and life tips throughout and I adore the illustrations dotted throughout. Carrie really comes across as the 'honorary big sister' that she is to Hopefuls with this book and embodies al the qualities of a genuine real-person role model.

The book focusses mostly on questions which Carrie often gets asked by Hopefuls, such as how to deal with stress, bullying, how to make new friends and how to get over a broken heart. Not only that, but there's information on how to be a friendly internet user, and what internet lingo all means- this book really has it all and features nuggets of wisdom that will stay with you forever!

All I Know Now is the perfect book for any fan of Carrie, but not only that, its an absolute must read for all teenagers, or even those older who just want some friendly advice! It's the perfect read for how to get through your teenage years and if you need a little inspiration in life. I can't recommend reading All I Know Now enough, and although not compulsory, I would urge you to read it with a slice of cake and a good ole' cuppa!
